Non SPF grade breeding rooms of LAC include Rooms 603, 617, 618, 619, 621 and 646. According to long-term animal monitoring results, the animals contain SPF-listed pathogens and the detection rate is high. After discussion with the veterinarian, it is recommended to adopt a semi-shielded system for secondary clean degree of animals*. LAC use Biozone IVC machines (which can effectively isolate and avoid contamination between cages) and laminar flow (which can reduce the risk of pathogens spreading in the animal room) still. But animal rearing and experimental operations will not use sterilized cages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
